Whatever your idea of relaxation is, this part of the country certainly offers it in abundance.
We are situated a few miles from the coast at Looe (above) which along with the picturesque fishing harbour, offers quaint sandy coves dotted along the shoreline, where you can sunbathe or swim in the warm waters. There are no piers, pedal boats or funfairs to spoil the serenity of the scene, just the sound of the water's edge.
To further ensure your peace and relaxation, no children under 10 years of age please, and also sorry no dogs.
However, for those of you who prefer a little more exercise you can walk for miles amidst the rolling hills of Bodmin and Dartmoor, then stop for a cream tea in one of the quaint little villages.
